About the Role
We are looking for experienced laboratory professionals to join our team at our Warrawoona Gold Project. If you are passionate about quality control, laboratory processes, and contributing to a successful mining operation, we want to hear from you!
We are currently offering this role FIFO from Perth on 15 days on, 13 days off roster.
As a Lab Technician, you will conduct routine and non-routine analysis of mine samples and materials, ensuring accurate results that directly impact the operational efficiency of the mine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse mineral samples using a range of laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Perform routine quality control tests and ensure sample integrity.
- Record and report test results accurately, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere to safety and environmental procedures, ensuring a clean and organised workspace.
- Assist in the development and improvement of lab processes.
