Press Brake Operator | Acacia Ridge | $40-$47 per hour

Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with a 1:00 pm finish on Fridays

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a manufacturing team in Acacia Ridge.
We're looking for someone who can confidently program, set up and operate press brake machinery to produce quality parts.

- Day shift hours of 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with an early finish at 1:00 pm on Fridays.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up press brake machines and selecting the correct tooling.
- Creating bending programs using information provided in job paperwork.
- Running existing programs for recurring parts.
- Bending parts to the required specifications and following correct bend sequences.
- Measuring and quality checking parts throughout production.
- Troubleshooting and adjusting programs when issues arise.
- Using measuring tools to check dimensions and angles.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work area.
What we're looking for:
- At least 1-2 years' experience as a Press Brake Operator.
- Experience creating press brake programs, as well as bending parts.
- Ability to set tooling and understand basic tooling selection.
- Ability to read and interpret job paperwork and specifications.
- Experience checking measurements, dimensions and angles.
- Robust attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Trumpf TASC 600 software would be beneficial.
- Ability to pass ongoing drug and alcohol testing and a police check.
- Current working rights in Australia. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
