An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Insurance Lawyer at Associate level to join a highly regarded national law firm in Sydney.

This opportunity is ideal for a motivated insurance litigation lawyer looking to develop their career, work alongside experienced Partners and gain exposure to a broad range of complex insurance and liability matters.

The Opportunity
You will join an established and collaborative General Insurance team, working on a diverse portfolio of defendant insurance litigation matters.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Managing public and product liability claims.
- Advising on property damage and complex liability disputes.
- Handling insurance litigation from initial instructions through to resolution.
- Drafting pleadings, advice, court documents and settlement correspondence.
- Briefing counsel and attending mediations, conferences and court proceedings.
- Liaising directly with insurers, brokers and corporate clients.
- Assisting senior lawyers and Partners on complex and high-value disputes.

About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:

- 2–5 years' post-admission experience (PAE) in insurance litigation.
- Experience in general insurance,



particularly public liability, property damage or product liability.
- Robust drafting, analytical and negotiation skills.
- The ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career in insurance litigation.
