GBL Rental Express is one of Brisbane’s largest motorcycle and scooter rental companies, operating a large and diverse fleet of motorcycles and scooters. We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Motorcycle Mechanic to join our growing workshop team in Brisbane.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing and repairs on motorcycles and scooters
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
Perform engine, brake, suspension, and transmission repairs
Conduct inspections and roadworthy preparation
Maintain workshop cleanliness and safety standards
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
Skills and Experience Required
Applicants must meet at least one of the following requirements:
An AQF Certificate III in Motorcycle Mechanical Technology or a closely related qualification; or
An AQF Certificate IV qualification; or
At least three years of relevant full-time (or equivalent part time)
work experience as a Motorcycle Mechanic in place of formal qualifications.
Experience working with motorcycles and scooters
Robust diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Positive communication and time management skills
Current driver licence and motorcycle licence preferred
Salary
AUD $80,000 - $83,000 per year plus superannuation.
