Humber, Heyday & Halfway are a small group of venues in the heart of Wollongong CBD—ranging from rooftop and cocktail bars to a large-format late-night nightclub.
We’re looking for a full time Venue Manager with solid leadership and proven ability to run high-energy, fast-paced service venue. This is a hands on role.
About the role
You will take ownership of the venue operations (Humber) end-to-end, leading from the front while building a cohesive team culture and driving strong commercial outcomes.
We’re looking for proven experience in:
Creative interest in food & beverage curation
Delivering genuine hospitality
Rostering and proactive staff management - especially with a casual workforce.
Strong cost control, efficiencies, and accountability across service delivery
A positive,
creative approach and strong contribution to a collaborative leadership team
Remaining calm under pressure and solving problems in real time during busy periods
Comprehensive operational capability—from open to close, including pre-service preparation and post-service wrap - risk management and coordination.
