Wander Restaurant PTY LTD – Woolooware NSW Wander is a small 24-seat neighbourhood restaurant in Woolooware, recently relocated from London to Sydney.

an ever-changing seasonal menu, warm and professional service, and a carefully curated natural wine list featuring independent winemakers from Australia and Europe.

About the role

This position suits someone who is skilled, hard-working, reliable and confident working in a busy restaurant workplace. As a small restaurant, everyone plays an key role in delivering a consistently high standard of service. We're looking for someone who is comfortable managing their own section, works well within a small team and takes pride in providing genuine hospitality. Our menu and wine list change regularly, so strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly are essential.

Delivering warm,



attentive and professional service to guests Confidently managing a section throughout service Taking orders accurately and efficiently Learning our regularly changing menu and confidently explaining dishes to guests Providing recommendations and handling dietary requirements Offering wine recommendations and guiding guests through our wine list Working closely with the chef and other team members to ensure smooth service Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of front of house areas Processing payments and handling guest requests professionally Assisting with opening and closing duties About you

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a restaurant front of house role Experience providing full table service and managing their own section Excellent communication and customer service skills A professional, friendly and confident approach to hospitality Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure A genuine interest in food and wine The ability to learn changing menus quickly A reliable, punctual and proactive attitude A current NSW RSA certificate Availability to work Friday and Saturday evenings Competitive hourly rates in accordance with the Restaurant Industry Award, plus applicable penalty rates and superannuation Tips shared among the team A friendly, supportive and professional working environment The opportunity to develop your knowledge of seasonal food and natural wine Consistent evening shifts and a good work-life balance The opportunity to be part of a small, independent restaurant
