Job Description

Advise clients on construction and real estate matters, providing clear and practical legal guidance.

Prepare, review and negotiate contracts and related legal documents for property and construction transactions.

Manage matters from initial instructions through to completion, keeping work accurate and well organised.

Conduct legal research to inform advice, documentation and transaction decisions.

Review project and property documentation to identify key legal considerations.

Work with colleagues and clients to progress matters in line with agreed timeframes.

Maintain explicit matter records and correspondence to support effective file management.





The Successful Applicant A successful 'Associate / Senior Associate - Canberra Construction And Real Estate' should have:

Capability to provide legal advice on construction and real estate matters.

Experience preparing, reviewing and negotiating legal documentation.

Solid legal research skills and the ability to apply findings to practical matters.

Ability to manage competing legal tasks and maintain accurate documentation.

Clear written communication skills for drafting advice, contracts and correspondence.

Sound judgement when reviewing transaction and project documentation.
