Role Description This is an on-site, contract role for a Reformer Pilates Instructor based in Chadstone, VIC. The instructor will lead Reformer Pilates classes, provide clear demonstrations and cueing, and tailor exercises to accommodate different fitness levels, goals, and any injuries or limitations. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing class plans, setting up and maintaining equipment, ensuring a safe and clean studio setting, and offering professional guidance to help clients progress over time. The role also involves greeting clients, answering questions,



supporting membership retention, and collaborating with the studio team to maintain a positive client experience. Instructors may be asked to assist with client scheduling, class feedback, and occasional studio events or promotional activities.

Qualifications
Recognized Pilates certification (preferably Reformer-specific) and current first aid/CPR credentials.
Solid skills in exercise programming, secure movement instruction, and modifying classes for various fitness levels and needs.
Ability to build rapport with clients, provide clear verbal and visual cueing, and maintain an encouraging, inclusive class atmosphere.
Professionalism in time management, reliability, and maintaining a clean, organized studio space.
Experience working in a studio or fitness environment; background in rehabilitation, dance, or personal training is an advantage.
Comfort with basic administrative tasks such as managing bookings, responding to client inquiries, and using studio scheduling software.
