Role Description This is a full time, on-site Carpenter role based in Brisbane, QLD. The Carpenter will carry out day-to-day tasks such as framing structures, installing doors, windows, and cabinetry, and completing internal and external fix-outs and finish carpentry. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting plans, measuring and cutting materials, assembling and installing timber and related components, and using appropriate hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner. The role involves working closely with site supervisors and other trades, maintaining a clean and organized work area,



and adhering to all workplace health and safety requirements. The Carpenter may also assist with site set-up, material handling, and occasional maintenance or repair work as required.
Qualifications
Strong carpentry skills, including experience with structural work and general building tasks
Proficiency with framing techniques for walls, floors, roofs, and other timber structures
Skill in finish carpentry, including detailed trim work, cabinetry, and detailed fit-offs
Safe and confident use of power tools such as saws, drills, nail guns, and related equipment
Competent use of hand tools, including hammers, chisels, levels, measuring tapes, and squares
Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in carpentry (or equivalent experience)
Sound knowledge of construction safety practices and ability to follow WHS guidelines
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team in office
Current driver’s license and reliable transport to Brisbane, QLD job sites
