Sheet Metal Fabricators - MIG & TIG Welding Acacia Ridge | Day Shift | $42-$48 per hour

We're seeking experienced

Trade Qualified and Second Class Sheet Metal Fabricators

for an ongoing workshop-based prospect in

Acacia Ridge , with a view to permanent employment.

What's on offer?

$42-$48 per hour casual, depending on experience.

Monday to Thursday:

7am-3:30pm.

Friday:

7am-1pm.

Immediate start.

Ongoing work with an early finish every Friday.

About the role You’ll be working on the manufacture and fabrication of high-quality metal products and components, with precision, attention to detail and quality workmanship being critical.

Some projects involve components for the

defence sector , so confidentiality and strict site procedures are extremely significant.

Duties include:

MIG and TIG welding of aluminium components.

Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings.

Measuring, cutting, preparing and assembling materials.





Checking finished products for accuracy and weld quality.

Maintaining a clean and protected workspace.

What you'll need

Proven MIG and TIG aluminium welding experience is essential.

Previous sheet metal fabrication experience.

A relevant trade qualification for the qualified position.

Robust attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.

Reliability and commitment to ongoing work.

Ability to follow safety, quality and confidentiality procedures.

Must supply your own welding helmet.

Before you start Successful applicants will attend a

site interview, workshop tour and practical weld test

before receiving a job offer.

Applicants must also be able to successfully complete:

A police check.

Regular drug and alcohol testing.
