Saltwater Sushi & Oyster Bar is a busy and well-established seafood venue located in the Queen Victoria Market food court. We are currently looking for an experienced Sushi maker to join our team.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi in a fast-paced food court workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing sushi (rolls, nigiri, sashimi, hand rolls)
Fish cutting and handling
Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
Assisting with stock control and prep
Working efficiently during busy service periods
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience as a sushi maker (essential)
Confident with knife skills and sushi preparation
Ability to work fast and clean under pressure
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Knowledge of food safety standards
