The Elegance Lounge – Seafood Bar & Grill is looking for a confident, enthusiastic and experienced Front of House Team Member to join our team on a part-time basis.
We are seeking someone with excellent customer service and communication skills who enjoys interacting with guests and creating memorable dining experiences.
Applicants with strong sales skills and the ability to confidently recommend food and beverages will have an advantage.
What We're Looking For
Previous restaurant or hospitality Front of House experience.
Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
Robust customer service skills and a welcoming personality.
Confidence in engaging with guests and understanding their needs.
Sales and upselling experience will be highly regarded.
Good food and beverage knowledge.
Ability to multitask during busy services.
Reliability, teamwork and a positive attitude.
Flexibility to work lunch, dinner and weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service.
Take food and beverage orders accurately.
Assist guests with menu selections and recommend suitable food and beverages.
Build positive guest relationships and encourage repeat visits.
Maintain restaurant presentation and cleanliness.
Handle guest enquiries professionally.
Work closely with kitchen and bar teams.
Assist with group bookings and special functions.
Required Certifications
RSA: Must be valid in Tasmania or obtained within two weeks of commencing employment.
Protected Food Handling Certificate: Must be valid in Tasmania or obtained within two weeks of commencing employment.

Pay: $26.44 – $46.21 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 38.0 per week
