· Conduct field and laboratory tests on construction materials and soils, including compaction testing, particle size distribution, Atterberg limits, and concrete slump/strength testing in accordance with relevant Australian Standards.

· Perform and direct fieldwork, site sampling, and in-situ testing at project locations.

· Collect and analyse test data, carry out computations, and prepare tabulations and charts for inclusion in technical reports.

· Interpret work assignment instructions, select appropriate testing procedures and equipment, and apply required standards to each task.

· Assist in estimating material costs and verifying that finished works and materials are within specified tolerances, regulations, and contract provisions.

· Inspect civil engineering works and organise or supervise maintenance and repair work relevant to testing equipment and site conditions.

· Collect data for pavement condition assessments or traffic-related surveys where required by project scope.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
