BHP is offering a Fabrication Apprenticeship at its Perth Future Fit Academy, starting March .
You will train in a workshop, learn to read drawings, measure and cut metal, and join parts to make or repair equipment. Safety PPE is required and the role is hands-on and physically demanding.
The two-year program leads to a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade, with training at the academy and eventual placement at a mine site.
