The role
We’re looking for a caring, reliable support worker to provide overnight support for an older woman in Hornsby Heights.
What you’ll do
Provide personal care, including toileting, showering and dressing, with dignity and respect
Support her through the night, including repositioning and settling.
Help with evening and morning routines
Follow her support plan and write transparent shift notes after every shift
About you
Patient, calm, compassionate and comfortable working alone overnight
A nursing or care background is strongly preferred (for example Enrolled Nurse, Assistant in Nursing, or Certificate III or IV in Individual Support), but experience and the right attitude count too
Confident with personal care and manual handling
Reliable and consistent,
because our participants count on seeing the same person
Requirements
An NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
Current First Aid and CPR
A police check
A full driver’s licence and your own reliable car
Australian work rights
The NDIS Worker Orientation Module (free online), or willingness to complete it
What we offer

Kilometre reimbursement where you drive for work

Ongoing training and a written support plan for every participant
