About the Kitchen Steward Supervisor Chance
Joondalup Resort is seeking an experienced Kitchen Steward Supervisor to join the Stewarding team. This is a full time position (payment is based on Hospitality Award wages).
Responsibilities include:
Ensure kitchens and back of house areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards.
Care for kitchen and service equipment
Track and minimize breakages, loss of equipment and crockery.
Review, establish and manage kitchen cleaning schedules.
Lead a team of kitchen stewards in various sections of the kitchen.
Manage team rosters.
Position Specifications:
Extensive stewarding experience including experience in a similar hotel environment
Working Knowledge and leadership of HACCP
Hospitality Hygiene Officer Certificate
Have availability to work a adaptable roster including early mornings/ late nights/ weekends and public holidays
Personal qualities:
Strong Organisational and Time Management Skills
Excellent Communication Skills
Meticulous Attention to Detail
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Chemical Handling Knowledge
