Role Description This is a full-time, in office Registered Nurse role based in Toowoomba, QLD. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessments, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications and treatments, and monitoring patient progress. The role involves collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, coordinating care, updating clinical documentation, and supporting discharge planning and patient education. The nurse will follow clinical protocols, infection control standards, and safety procedures, while contributing to quality improvement initiatives. The position also requires effective communication with patients, families, and the wider care team to ensure compassionate,



culturally sensitive, and timely care.

Qualifications
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the appropriate Australian regulatory body (e.g., AHPRA) and eligibility to practice in QLD.
Demonstrated clinical nursing skills in assessment, care planning, medication administration, and patient monitoring across a range of conditions.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and build positive relationships with patients and families.
Knowledge of infection prevention, workplace health and safety, and quality standards in a clinical workplace.
Competence in clinical documentation, use of electronic medical records, and basic computer skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Commitment to person-centered care, professional ethics, and respect for diversity and inclusion.
Relevant nursing degree or diploma and participation in ongoing professional development; prior experience in general practice, hospital, or community health settings is advantageous.
