Gather by Cater Care is seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant to join our team at one of our key education sites in Darlinghurst, NSW.
Roster: (during school term)
Tuesday - 8:00 am - 3:00pm
Wednesday - 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Friday - 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

What This Role Involves:
Assisting with food preparation
Customer service - serving meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Possession of a valid,
current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) is mandatory.
Previous experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, or commercial catering environments is highly regarded.
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation or customer service
POS experience highly regarded
Exceptional communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor are essential for student interaction.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a rapid-paced team environment is required.
Full availability to commit to roster across weekdays
Robust commitment to maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and food safety is expected.
