A private family in Jeddah is appointing a UK & European-trained Concierge Physician for executive health oversight. Yachting and private flying are part of family life, so the doctor should understand fitness to fly and medicine at sea. Each summer the family spends several weeks on their yacht in the Mediterranean. You will look after travel health and fitness-to-fly reviews. Requirements Your medical registration as a family medicine physician (GP) is held in the UK or Europe. You have practised independently for at least 3 years since full registration. Aviation, maritime or expedition medicine experience is valuable. Excellent English and a calm, private manner on board are required. You are comfortable living on a yacht for several weeks at a time. We confirm your registration and take up references. Arabic language skills are a solid advantage. Advantages

Salary:
£218,000 a year gross.



The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Accommodation within the residence and travel, including time on board, are covered. Leave is planned around the yachting season. The family employs you directly. Medical insurance is covered; qualified indemnity insurance is not included. Flights and travel are always paid for by the family. Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice.
