The Opportunity

An immediate temporary assignment has become available within their Sydney CBD office. Reporting to the Collections Manager, you will support the wider collections function by managing a portfolio of consumer mortgage accounts up to 80 days in arrears.

Your responsibilities will include:
Engaging with customers to recover outstanding arrears in a professional and empathetic manner
Negotiating and implementing tailored repayment arrangements
Monitoring repayment plans and proactively following up on commitments
Liaising with internal stakeholders (Customer Service, Credit, Legal) to achieve timely resolutions




Achieving individual KPIs while contributing to a high-performing, team-focused environment

About You

To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:
Minimum 12 months’ experience in collections within financial services, OR robust customer service experience within a financial services environment
Confidence managing sensitive conversations regarding overdue accounts
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Excellent attention to detail and time management
A proactive mindset with the ability to quickly integrate into an established team

Availability to commence immediately or at short notice will be highly regarded.
