We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated cleaner with a compassionate nature. You will be a supportive member of our cleaning team, working together to deliver exceptional quality service whilst maintaining safe work practices.
We have position available in Aged Care Facility Cleaning in Easter suburb (Balwyn North Location). This position involves working in close proximity to vulnerable residents, including people living with dementia. We are seeking someone who is patient, compassionate, and able to work calmly and respectfully within this workplace.
Responsibilities:
General cleaning of all common areas in your designated area
Spot cleaning of resident rooms inc vacuuming, dusting,
wiping of rooms
Thorough cleaning of resident bathrooms
Collaborate effectively within a team to ensure timely completion of tasks
Replenish consumables as required
Regular communication and support from your direct Manager
Requirements:
Good understanding of safe work methods
Good understanding of commercial cleaning operating procedures
Experienced in an aged care setting (preferred but not essential)
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Excellent communication skills
National Police Certificate (required - within 12 months)
Ability to work 2 days per week (Thursday 7am - 3pm & Friday 10 am – 6pm) - Available to cover other days
