Our client, a leading legal search firm in Sydney, is seeking a Search Consultant to identify, engage and build relationships with qualified lawyers, discussing senior opportunities and helping them navigate their next career move.
This chance would suit someone with 12–24 months’ recruitment experience, or a sales professional looking to transition into executive search.
The role
Research and identify lawyers for senior opportunities.
Approach prospective candidates and build rapport through thoughtful, professional conversations.
Understand their experience, ambitions and motivations for considering a move.
Present relevant opportunities and maintain relationships throughout the search process.
Keep candidate information accurate and follow up consistently.
About you
Ideally degree qualified,
with experience in recruitment, sales or business development.
Articulate and confident engaging with senior professionals.
Curious, commercially minded and interested in the legal sector.
A strong listener who builds trust and asks considered questions.
Organised, persistent and proactive in making current connections.
No legal background is required. Your communication skills, judgement and ability to build credible relationships will be key.
