ABC Heavy Engineering is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our onsite team working in an Ancillary Workshop in the Bowen Basin.
This is an ongoing position working a 7 days on, 7 days off rotating day/night shift roster , undertaking maintenance, servicing, repairs, overhauls and rebuilds of heavy mining equipment.
What you'll bring
Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Current Coal Board Medical (CBM)
Current Standard 11 (S11)
BMA Core Induction
Experience in heavy mining/earthmoving equipment maintenance, servicing, repairs, overhauls and PCRs for CAT graders and dozers
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
