TLC First Support Services is seeking compassionate, reliable and motivated experienced Disability Support Workers to join our growing team for Supported Independent Living (SIL).

In this role, you will provide person-centred support to people with disability, helping them build independence, achieve personal goals and participate actively in their community. You will work closely with clients, families, coordinators and other support staff to deliver safe, respectful and high-quality care.

Main shift times are 9am-3pm for day support and 3pm-9am for sleepovers. If you cannot work these times do not apply for this role.

Key responsibilities include:
Providing daily living and personal care support, where required
Supporting clients with community access, appointments, social activities and skill development
Assisting with meal preparation, household tasks and maintaining a safe home workplace
Supporting clients to follow individual support plans and work towards their goals
Completing shift notes, incident reports and other required documentation accurately
Communicating professionally with clients, families, team members and service providers
Promoting client choice, dignity, privacy and independence at all times

To be successful, you must have:




Previous experience in disability support
A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or a related qualification
Current First Aid HLTAID011 and CPR HLTAID009 certification
Assist clients with medication HLTHPS006
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Vulnerable People
Current Australian driver licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive Car insurance
Solid communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
A genuine commitment to providing respectful, person-centred support
