Eifers is a family-owned Australian company with 23 years experience in civil construction across the Melbourne Metropolitan Area. We are looking for a fit, motivated, and well-presented HC driver to undertake regular Melbourne, metro & regional deliveries as required.
Key responsibilities
Drive heavy vehicles fitted with tipper bodies, concrete plant, trailers, and associated equipment
Ensure operational readiness of trucks and equipment, complete basic maintenance and related documentation
Float various plant machinery
Manoeuvre trucks into loading and unloading positions
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) and Eifers policies and procedures
Wash equipment to prevent debris, damage and maintain a qualified image of quality
Coordinate machine actions with other activities
Refuel machinery
Complete daily delivery documents
Focus on safety and quality, adhere to a goal of zero loss or damage and maintain accountability for your own actions
About you
Current Heavy Combination Non-Synchromesh Licence
Minimum 5 years experience
OH&S; Induction card (White Card)
Work with minimal supervision
Valuable communication skills
Great work ethic and can-do attitude
Motivated, well organised, punctual, and pleasantly mannered
Aware of and able to follow the requirements of the QSE Management System
