Key responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based teaching in small class sizes
Differentiate learning for a wide range of abilities and year levels
Build strong relational classroom management with students who have complex or diverse needs
Work collaboratively within a team that emphasises staff and student wellbeing
Support young people's growth and potential through a trauma-informed approach
Background in teaching Math is highly regarded
About you
Current QLD Teacher Registration
A genuine interest in working with young people who have complex or diverse needs
Strong relational classroom management skills
The ability to differentiate learning for a wide range of abilities and year levels
A cooperative mindset and a willingness to grow
A belief that behaviour communicates need — not defiance
Experience in a Special Assistance School or alternative setting is advantageous but not essential
