Measuring, marking, cutting and shaping timber and other building materials using hand and power tools.
Constructing, assembling and installing timber frameworks, wall frames, roof structures, flooring systems and other structural components.
Installing doors, door frames, windows, skirting boards, architraves and other timber fixtures and fittings.
Constructing and installing timber partitions, ceiling frames and internal fit-outs.
Installing timber decking, outdoor structures and other carpentry components as required.
Carrying out renovations, alterations, repairs and maintenance of existing timber structures.
Ensuring all carpentry work is completed accurately and in accordance with building plans, specifications and quality standards.
Coordinating with site supervisors, builders and other tradespeople to ensure productive completion of construction activities.
Maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
