The Goyder South Wind Farm is a 412 MW renewable energy project located in South Australia's Mid North region near Burra, built across 2 stages.Job Description Essential ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on turbines and site infrastructureFollow GE manuals, specifications, and work instructions to perform assigned tasks and inspectionsConduct maintenance, fault finding, and high voltage switching operations as requiredParticipate in annual maintenance, retrofit works, major component exchanges, and fault findingUse GE software tools to maintain reports and submit technical queriesEnsure compliance with JSA, LOTO, EHS policies, and report issues promptlyMake a conformance or non-conformance decision upon completion of inspectionsReport errors, violations, incidents, or problems immediately using GE reporting systemsEmbrace a 37.5-hour work week, with opportunities for overtime as approved and participate in on-call rosters for after-hours or weekend work as directedQualifications,



Requirements & CompetenciesQualified Electrician or qualified MechanicProficient in fault finding (electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment)Proficient in using computer systems and tools for monitoring work and managing documentationStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishA current unrestricted driver's licenseAbility to complete physically demanding tasks at heights, comfortable with heights (you'll be climbing turbines, so you've got to have a head for heights and a love for fresh air!)A commitment to the highest safety standards, high performance, continuous improvement and delivering the right solutionsIndependent, solutions-focused, and well-organised in managing tasksOpen to travel to other sites as requiredAddressing the climate crisis is an urgent global priority and we take our responsibility seriously.
