Loreto Toorak is seeking an experienced VCE Mathematics Teacher for a full-time, ongoing position commencing in Term 1, ****. The role includes teaching Units 3 & 4 Mathematical Methods and other Mathematics classes.

The Position
Loreto Toorak invites applications from experienced VCE Mathematics Teachers for a full-time, ongoing position commencing in Term 1, ****.
Reporting to the Head of Faculty, the successful candidate will be a passionate and innovative educator committed to fostering students understanding, confidence and appreciation of Mathematics.
The role is expected to include teaching Units 3 & 4 Mathematical Methods, together with Mathematics classes across other year levels.
The successful candidate will bring a dynamic and inquiry-based approach to the classroom, using effective teaching strategies to make complex concepts accessible, develop strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, and connect mathematical learning to meaningful real-world applications.
About You
To be successful in this position, it is essential that you have:
Current Teaching Registration (Victorian Institute of Teaching)
Demonstrated experience teaching Units 3 & 4 Mathematical Methods is essential
Experience teaching Units 3 & 4 Specialist Mathematics is highly desirable




A demonstrated understanding and appreciation of principles and practices of student learning strategies and styles
Excellent communication skills to a range of audiences
A collaborative approach with colleagues in planning and delivering curriculum
Proven experience in establishing and fostering relationships with students, staff and parents
