A part-time craft role shooting and editing genuinely good short-form video across our eleven Melbourne venues.
Shoot and edit short-form video across eleven venues
A craft role with real creative input
Part-time, with food and drink across the group
Darling Group is looking for a Videographer and Content Producer to lift the standard of video across our portfolio of eleven Melbourne venues.
This is a craft role.
We have people who plan content and people who run our accounts; what we want is someone who can shoot and cut genuinely good short-form video, consistently, across some of the best rooms in the city.
You'll produce video across all eleven venues, reporting to the Marketing Manager and working alongside our Brand and Content Producer and social team.
This role exists to raise the quality of what we publish.
Our venues, our food and our events are worth filming properly, and you're responsible for making sure they are.
In the role you will:
Shoot and edit short-form video for Instagram and TikTok across the group
Film menu launches, events, functions and venue activity as they happen
Develop concepts and formats, not just execute briefs
Shoot in live service, around guests and venue teams
Handle lighting, audio and colour to a standard that holds up next to the room
Edit to platform, including text, motion and sound design
File and maintain footage so material gets reused rather than reshot
Work to the group brand standard and the creative direction set by the Creative Director
Applications close Sunday 15 November ****.
Weekend and evening availability is part of this role, our rooms look their best when they're full and that's when we film.
What you'll Bring
Two or more years shooting and editing short-form video, ideally in hospitality, food or lifestyle
A showreel that demonstrates craft, not just volume
Strong editing capability in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent
Confidence with camera, lighting and audio
Motion graphics and sound design an advantage
Stills photography an advantage
Your own equipment an advantage, though we have gear available
Availability for weekend and evening work, which is when our venues are at their best
About you:
You have a solid eye for composition, pacing and tone
You work independently from concept through to final delivery
You can film in a busy venue without getting in the way
You're responsive to direction and feedback
You care about food, hospitality and the places people choose to spend their time
What we offer
Film across some of Melbourne's most recognisable venues
Work directly with senior creative leadership
Real creative input, not just execution
Genuine flexibility in a part-time arrangement
Food and drink across all eleven venues
