We are seeking an enthusiastic Rural Generalist to join our team in tropical North Queensland.
Innisfail Hospital is a 32-bed acute care hospital staffed by Rural Generalists, SMOs and trainees.
We have a busy Emergency Department seeing 20k pxs per year.
We have excellent critical care equipment and medical imaging capacity allowing advanced diagnostic and treatment capacity.
Our inpatient unit has a 3-bed High Dependency allowing limited critical care capacity locally.
Our Obstetric SMOs work with MGP midwives delivering > 200 babies per year with a LCSC rate of 25%.




A collaborative workplace exists with weekly multidisciplinary antenatal case conference and monthly multidisciplinary instrumental birth case review.
