An exciting opportunity for an Experienced Dental Receptionist to upgrade into a leadership role
Are you a caring and an experienced Dental Receptionist who is an all-rounder and ready to take the next step in your career?
We are looking for a genuinely caring person who is highly capable and organised to join our established private dental practice.
This is much more than a reception position.
We are seeking someone who can eventually take ownership of the front office.

THE OPPORTUNITY
You will join our current reception team and be trained in our reception systems.
Initially, you will have a strong focus on our dental reception and related administration such as:
Reception and patient management
Appointment scheduling and treatment coordination
Patient communication and follow-up
Supporting the dental team especially with our patients' dental implant needs
Assistance with sterilisation and infection-control procedures
Ordering and management of dental supplies and stock where required
Coordination of laboratories, deposits and other practice logistics
Processing payments and assisting with accounts
Your primary role will be to carry out your reception duties and focus on helping the practice run smoothly.
As you become familiar with our practice, there will be opportunities to progress based on your skills and abilities.
Your all round skills will determine which leadership role you can take on based on our clinicians' and practice needs such as:
Practice administration and organisation
Taking on increasing responsibility with the potential to progress into a Management Role

ABOUT YOU
You are an experienced dental professional who understands that excellent patient care begins long before a patient sits in the dental chair.
You are confident dealing with patients, organised with administration, comfortable working with the dental team and willing to jump in and help wherever required.
Most importantly, you are someone who wants to grow with a practice and take on greater responsibility over time.
Essential experience and qualities:
Minimum 2 years' experience in dental reception/front-office administration
Minimum 1 year of dental assisting/chairside experience especially with dental implants
Experience with sterilisation and infection-control procedures
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional customer service and patient-care skills
Strong computer and administrative skills
Confident processing payments and handling financial transactions
Honest, reliable and professional
Able to work independently and take initiativeA genuine willingness to learn and take on additional responsibility
Available to work 4–5 days per week
HIGHLY REGARDED
Experience with Dental4Windows (D4W) — preferred but not essential
Experience with assisting with dental implants
Previous experience with ordering, stock control or practice administration
Previous leadership or supervisory experience
An interest in progressing into practice management
