About the group

Aspire Hospitality Group operates three Albany venues: Six Degrees (restaurant, bar, accommodation and live music), Chanya Thai (authentic Thai dining) and Venice Albany (Italian restaurant and cafe). We combine hospitality, accommodation and events with our own group technology, including Zinga payments and POS platforms, Alby and Goldroom.

Role overview

We are seeking a Chef at Executive Chef level to lead food across all three venues, setting menus, standards and kitchen performance for the group.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the Head Chefs and kitchen teams across Six Degrees, Chanya Thai and Venice Albany
- Set menu direction, recipes and plating standards for each venue
- Own group food cost, supplier contracts and kitchen budgets
- Plan menus for functions, events and accommodation guests




- Set food safety systems and audit them across venues
- Plan kitchen staffing, training and succession

Requirements

- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience as a Chef, including 2 years as Head Chef or Executive Chef
- Experience running more than one kitchen or a high-volume venue
- Solid skills in menu engineering, costing and budgets
- Proven leadership of senior kitchen staff

Pay

$105,000 to $115,000 per year plus superannuation, depending on experience.
