The Opportunity

As Café / Bar Supervisor, you will supervise daily service across our café and bar, providing clear direction and hands-on support to keep each shift running smoothly. Based at the foothills of the Blue Mountains, Glenbrook Panthers is a family-friendly club with a strong community focus. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, leading and developing our café and bar employees to deliver an exceptional experience for our members and guests.

As a Café / Bar Supervisor, you will:

- Supervise café and bar service, maintaining consistent standards across coffee, food and beverages.
- Conduct team briefings, allocate duties and provide clear direction throughout each shift
- Provide hands-on support with coffee preparation, bar operations and food and beverage service
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering and keep service areas stocked and organised
- Resolve customer enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
- Complete daily shift reports, cash handling and cash reconciliation
- Prepare and set up function spaces, ensuring every detail is ready for a successful event
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across café and bar areas
- Work collaboratively with other departments to support smooth club operations
- Train, motivate and support team members, providing feedback and escalating performance concerns as required
- Promote safe and responsible service, ensuring compliance with RSA, food safety and WHS requirements, Panthers policies and relevant legislation

About you

You’re a confident,



hands-on supervisor who leads by example and supports your team to deliver excellent service. You stay calm during busy periods, think on your feet and take a practical approach to resolving problems.

You also bring:

- 2 years + experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent shift coordination and customer service skills
- Sound judgement and confidence handling challenging situations and making day-to-day operational decisions
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications
- High standards of personal presentation and grooming
- A current RSA and RCG Competency Card and Barista Certificate
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
