First aid training forms an integral part of this work, by providing people in the community with first aid skills which could save a life at any time.

About the role

In this role, you will deliver and assess a range of accredited first aid courses, supporting diverse communities across urban, regional, and remote locations. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, engaging learning experiences that support positive outcomes for every participant. The role will also include supporting non-accredited training, kit and equipment management (including stock control and maintenance), and other operational duties as needed.

This role requires travel across various venues in the stated area; reliable transport is an essential requirement of the successful candidate.

What you will bring

- Highly proficient in delivering engaging first aid training to diverse audiences
- Strong communication skills and an engaging training style
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently
- Well organised with solid time management and administration skills
- Confident using digital systems, with a strong focus on quality and compliance

Essential requirements

- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent
- Own reliable transport
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Current Working with Children Check

Desirable

- Experience delivering to a diverse range of clients
- Understanding of ASQA compliance requirements




- Current first aid qualifications (e.g. HLTAID011 or higher)
- Experience in first aid, emergency response, lifeguarding, outdoor education, or related industries
- Ability to deliver specialised or higher-level first aid training (highly regarded)

This role is covered by the Educational Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award 2020, Level 9. Salary from $79,020.24 + superannuation, plus access to salary packaging.
