About the role

This is a customer-facing internal sales role with strong relationship-building focus. You will work with architects, interior designers, builders, and retail customers, managing inbound and outbound communications while converting enquiries into sales orders.

Key responsibilities

- Managing Sales email enquiries and front of house.

- Managing inbound and outbound phone enquiries and converting them into sales orders

- Preparing and processing quotes, orders, returns and credits accurately

- Proactively following up customers to progress quotes, check stock needs, and introduce relevant products





- Supporting external sales representatives by maintaining strong day-to-day customer contact

- Identifying opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, or re-engage existing customers

- Maintaining accurate customer and sales activity records in the CRM

- Working closely with warehouse and sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment

- Sharing customer insights to help improve service, sales processes, and product focus

- Be part of the training development by proactively helping to build the training manual as you learn

About you

- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in internal sales or customer service roles is required

- Background in internal sales, customer service, administration, reception, or coordination roles

- Experience in trade wholesale, distribution, retail, or supplier environments

- Familiarity with NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar systems (or confidence learning current platforms)
