The Role

The Import Logistics/Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating import and shipping activities, monitoring inventory movements, maintaining accurate stock records and preparing relevant reports and documentation. The role works closely with shipping agents, internal stakeholders and Korean Head Office to ensure productive import operations, timely container movements and accurate inventory management.

What you need to bring along

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in import logistics, shipping coordination or a similar role, together with advanced Excel skills, ERP system experience and proficiency in Korean (written and verbal) to effectively communicate with our Korean Head Office on import and shipping matters. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to coordinate shipping and inventory activities are essential. Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and manage inventory tracking through import coordination and comprehensive container lists.

- Prepare and evaluate detailed reports on stock levels by verifying material lists.

- Generate weekly and monthly stock status reports, tracking stock in transit (SIT) and stock on hand.

- Conduct container transfers and stock adjustments directly within SAP.

- Track container status (inbound and outbound movements) with local team members and provide updates to the General Manager.

- Coordinate directly with Head Office to resolve import complications and stock discrepancies.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for shipping agents regarding packing declarations and Electronic Delivery Order (EDO) requests.





- Report damaged containers to carriers and negotiate shipping and demurrage cost issues.

- Manage purchase document listings and associated banking information, including maturity lists, bank contacts and Documents Against Acceptance (D/A) handling.

- Coordinate container-based customer shipments, including preparing invoices and shipping documentation and tracking shipping line processes.

- Liaise with shipping agents regarding cost enquiries, including destination charges and additional administration fees.

- Update and provide shipping documentation for annual and internal control audits.
