An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Lawyer to join a highly regarded Sydney law firm with a robust reputation in family law.

Our client is seeking a motivated Associate or Senior Associate who is passionate about family law, enjoys working directly with clients and is looking for long-term career progression within a supportive and collaborative team.

The Opportunity
You will manage a diverse range of family law matters, working closely with experienced senior practitioners while enjoying autonomy and responsibility for your own files.

Your work will include:

- Complex property settlements and financial disputes
- Parenting arrangements and parenting disputes
- Divorce and separation matters
- Binding Financial Agreements (BFAs)
- Spousal maintenance and child support matters
- Family law litigation and court proceedings
- Mediation, negotiation and dispute resolution
- Advising high-net-worth individuals on complex family law matters

About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:

- 2+ years' post-admission experience in family law




- Strong experience managing family law matters independently
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
- Experience appearing in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia
- Strong client relationship management skills
- A commercial, empathetic and solutions-focused approach
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career in family law
