Tenkate Plant Hire Pty Ltd is a proudly family-owned business operating a large, modern fleet of earthmoving and heavy transport equipment across Queensland.

We are seeking a qualified Diesel Fitter to join our maintenance team in a role that combines workshop duties with field service work.

This position is suited to a reliable tradesperson who enjoys varied work, problem-solving, and developing advanced skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

About the Role

· Minimum 38 hours per week with overtime available

· Combination of workshop and site-based field service work

· Maintenance, diagnostics, breakdown response, and repairs

Work across a modern fleet including:

· Volvo articulated haulers, water carts, excavators, and loaders

· Caterpillar dozers

· Heavy road transport equipment

About You

· Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter (Cert III)





· Minimum 2 years’ experience working on earthmoving equipment

· Robust diagnostic and fault-finding ability

· Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· Current Australian C-Class driver’s licence (or higher)

· HRWL (Forklift, CN) licences — desirable

· Australian citizen or permanent resident
