Due to solid growth, a well-established boutique firm is seeking a Business Services Senior Accountant / Supervisor join their close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 5+ years’ experience in an Australian accounting firm, who is CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion, to step into a senior, client-facing role.
About the Role
- Work with a diverse client base across hospitality, professional services, trades, construction, property and real estate, and more
- Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for a variety of entities (excluding SMSFs)
- Apply technical expertise in Div 7A, PSI, CGT and FBT
- Deliver advisory services, with direct client contact from engagement through to completion
- Train and mentor junior and intermediate accountants
- Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies as required
- Maintain and prepare client financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
About You
- 5-10 years’ experience in public practice accounting
- CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion
- Experience training or reviewing the work of graduate and junior accountants
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)
