Senior Data Scientist required to create a forecasting model for a well-known retailer to assist with workforce planning.
Responsibilities:
- Working with internal stakeholders to gather and define requirements
- Analysing historical and real-time data, assess data quality and identify gaps
- Developing qualitative forecasting models using statistical and machine learning techniques
- Building scalable and adaptable models to allow for changing workforce flows
Requirements:
- Extensive background in data analysis and statistical modelling
- Strong data integration, cleansing and analysis
- Proven experience in time-series forecasting and scenario analysis
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaborative development skills
- Extensive experience working in an Azure workplace, with Fabric and AI Foundry skills
