ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join a top-tier main contractor delivering civil infrastructure projects across regional Queensland, Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Construction Manager with a strong civil construction background and proven experience in asphalt delivery, overseeing projects valued at $20–30 million.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage the delivery of civil construction projects valued at up to $20–30 million.
- Oversee construction activities, including asphalt delivery and pavement works.
- Lead site teams, subcontractors, plant, materials and resources.
- Manage construction planning, scheduling, budgets and programme delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements.
- Monitor project progress and resolve construction issues to achieve successful outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in pavement construction management,



ideally on major road or highway projects
- Extensive experience in asphalt and/or spray seal works
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, safety, quality, and programme delivery
- Leadership and delivery-focused mindset, with the ability to motivate teams and achieve project outcomes
