SustainHealth Recruitment is seeking an experienced Child Health Nurse for a rewarding community-based contract in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident clinician who enjoys working autonomously and supporting children and families in a remote setting.

About the Role You will provide child health services within a remote community, supporting the health and development of children and promoting positive outcomes for families.

The role requires someone confident working independently, making clinical decisions and managing their workload in a community setting with limited immediate access to additional clinical support.
Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting child health assessments and monitoring growth and development
- Providing preventative healthcare, health education and family support
- Identifying health concerns and coordinating appropriate referrals
- Working collaboratively with community members and other healthcare professionals




- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and delivering culturally protected care
- Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' nursing experience, with demonstrated experience in Child Health
- A genuine passion for working in remote healthcare and supporting children and families in community settings
- Confidence working autonomously and making sound clinical decisions in a remote environment
- Previous experience working in an Aboriginal Medical Service or remote community setting is highly desirable
- Current immunisation provider certificate
- Full Australian driver's licence
- State-specific Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain
