- Lead, supervise and coordinate a small warehouse team.
- Actively assist with loading, unloading, picking and packing furniture.
- Operate forklifts to safely move and organise stock.
- Coordinate incoming deliveries and outgoing customer orders.
- Manage stock control, inventory and warehouse organisation.
- Ensure orders are accurately prepared and dispatched on time.
- Maintain a clean, protected and efficient warehouse environment.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and productivity.
Essential Requirements
- Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience is essential.
- Current forklift licence (LF) required.
- Current driver's licence required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience with warehouse operations, stock control and dispatch.
- Willingness to undertake physical, hands-on warehouse duties.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking with a positive attitude.
Previous experience in furniture warehousing, bulky goods or wholesale distribution would be highly regarded.
