Branch Manager | $95k–$105k + Super + Bonus | Air Conditioning Trade Supplier | Thomastown

Fastflex has been a leading air conditioning and refrigeration trade supplier in Victoria since 2004. We're family owned, based in Thomastown, and known for product knowledge, reliable stock and service that keeps trade customers coming back.

We stock a broad range of leading air conditioning brands for both commercial and domestic projects, alongside a full range of installation supplies, from copper and ducting to grilles, electrical, tools and consumables.

We're looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Thomastown operation and drive its next stage of growth.

The role

You'll have full responsibility for the branch: sales, warehouse, logistics, customer service and people. You'll report directly to the CEO and have the autonomy to run the branch your way, with support when you need it.

This role suits someone who has managed a trade, wholesale or distribution branch and wants more ownership, a direct line to the decision-makers, and a bonus that reflects the results they deliver.

What you'll be doing

- Driving branch sales against monthly and annual budgets, and protecting margin

- Growing trade accounts, following up quotes and leads, and converting enquiries into orders

- Managing warehouse operations:



receiving, picking, packing, dispatch and returns

- Overseeing inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stocktakes and stock rotation

- Managing freight and logistics so customers get the right stock on time

- Leading, rostering and developing a small team of warehouse and counter staff

- Setting and maintaining service standards at the counter, on the phone and by email

- Leading WHS compliance and a safe, organised workplace

Hours

- Monday to Friday: 7am to 4pm

- Saturday: 8am to 11am (alternate Saturdays)

Additional hours may be required from time to time to meet the needs of the business.

What you'll need

- Proven experience managing a branch, warehouse or distribution operation in a trade, wholesale or industrial setting

- A track record in B2B or trade sales, including managing accounts and working to a sales budget

- Robust inventory control and logistics experience

- Experience leading, rostering and developing a team

- Clear, confident communication with customers, suppliers and staff

- Strong computer skills, including POS, inventory and accounting systems

- A hands-on approach: you'll be on the floor and at the counter when the branch is busy

- A current forklift licence (LF) Or willingness to obtain one

- A current driver's licence

Highly regarded

- Experience in air conditioning, refrigeration or HVAC supply

- Technical product knowledge of air conditioning systems

- WHS management experience
