ABOUT THE ROLE
* Location: Yarrabilba 4207 & Murarrie 4127
* Employment Type: Part time (approximately 24 hours per week)
* Hours: Overnight shifts, approx 20:00 to 04:00 (later finish Saturday)
* Roster: Monday - Wednesday
* Pay: SSIA Award Rate Level 2, plus applicable weekend penalty loadings

Wilson Security holds a dedicated mobile patrol contract at Yarrabilba , south of Brisbane. This is a dedicated single-site service focused on protecting a large, active land development from trespass, theft and unauthorised access, particularly the theft of copper and building materials. The site places a strong emphasis on accurate, detailed reporting and a professional approach when engaging with members of the public. This position is supported by our Operations Team, and Wilson offers career growth plans to those who prove themselves and excel in their role.

JOB OVERVIEW




Your shift will involve conducting mobile patrols across the Yarrabilba development in a fully maintained company vehicle. You will deter and respond to trespass, unauthorised vehicles and theft, politely direct unauthorised persons from site, and complete detailed incident and end of shift reports. You will be the eyes and ears on the ground, keeping the site secure and thoroughly documented throughout your shift.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Conducting mobile patrols of the development in a company vehicle
* Deterring and responding to trespass, unauthorised vehicles and theft, including copper and building material theft
* Politely directing unauthorised persons and vehicles from site
* Completing detailed incident reports capturing times, vehicle and person descriptions and action taken
* Completing end of shift reports, vehicle activity logs and patrol tag scans
* Completing pre and post shift vehicle checklists
* Identifying and reporting hazards and site faults via reporting systems
* Coordinating with our operations centre

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
* Strong customer service skills
* Excellent time management abilities
* Proactive and problem-solving mindset
* Ability to work well in a team or autonomously
* Ability to work night and weekend shifts
* Australian Citizen or hold Unlimited Work Rights




* Demonstrated ability to prepare and write clear, detailed reports
* Physical fitness to walk and stand for extended periods
* Valid QLD Security License
* Valid Driver's License (Must be Australian)
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

HIGHLY DESIRABLE (Not Required)
* Crowd Control endorsement
* Previous security or patrol experience
* Willingness to support and step up into other roles as career growth and leadership opportunities become available
