About us

New England College is an established vocational education provider, operating on the Gold Coast, with a focus on courses within the Business, Automotive, Hospitality, and Construction industries.

We are looking for a agile trainer/assessor to support our growing faculty by delivering classroom face-to-face training to an international cohort in the following qualifications:

- BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)

Essential

- BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) or equivalent or higher

- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110/TAE40116/TAE40122) or equivalent or higher

- Vocational experience and currency to deliver training and assessment

- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite and demonstrated ability to use Student and Learning Management Systems





- Demonstrated understanding of RTO operational and compliance requirements

- A current National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain one

- Minimum 1-2 years of vocational experience in Leadership and Management training is required

- Australian work rights are required for this position.

Desirable

- Experience in delivering relevant training, face to face and online, in a variety of workplaces and also in classrooms, to a diverse range of students.

- Strong industry and community networks.

Tasks & responsibilities

- Delivering training and assessment to an international student cohort in BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning);

- Ensure that training and assessment processes are followed and records are maintained to company's and legislative standards;

- Maintain an effective feedback system to ensure that accurate and timely information, regarding training results & issues are passed to management and staff;

- Engage industry and complete annual industry competency tasks to ensure industry currency

- Participate in assessment review meetings at least once a year for the review, comparison, and evaluation of assessment processes, tools, and evidence against competency standards

- Comply with our policies and procedures for training and assessment

- Accurately maintain records of student progress and assessment.
