About the role

R&K; Bulk Logistics Pty Ltd ATF R&K; Bulk Haulage is seeking an experienced Tyre Fitter to join our team on a full-time basis in Jondaryan, QLD. This is a key position within our automotive operations, where you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing the tyres on our fleet of vehicles. As a Tyre Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our vehicles remain safe, compliant and roadworthy, which is essential to the smooth running of our bulk haulage logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

- Removing, inspecting and fitting tyres on various commercial and heavy vehicles to industry standards

- Balancing and aligning tyres to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety

- Conducting routine tyre maintenance including pressure checks, repairs and replacements

- Identifying and reporting tyre damage, wear patterns and potential safety issues

- Maintaining accurate records of all tyre fittings, repairs and replacements

- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies

- Operating and maintaining tyre fitting equipment and tools in positive working order

- Supporting the fleet maintenance schedule to minimise vehicle downtime

What we're looking for

- Relevant qualifications or certification in tyre fitting or automotive trades (or equivalent hands-on experience)

- Proven experience as a Tyre Fitter working with commercial or heavy vehicles

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle tyres, suspension systems and safety requirements

- Proficiency in operating tyre fitting equipment, balancing machines and alignment tools

- Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical specifications accurately

- A current, valid Australian driving licence





- Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety standards

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying conditions

- Preferred experience with fleet maintenance operations or bulk haulage industry experience
