The Role
You'll work closely with the firm's entrepreneurial Principal, taking ownership of sophisticated property matters while helping expand an already thriving and quick-growing practice where the trajectory to partnership is fast-tracked and real. Your work will include:
- Complex multi-jurisdictional conveyancing across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Tasmania
- Commercial property transactions
- Advising developers, investors, buyer's agents and property professionals
- Building and growing the firm's commercial property offering
- Contributing to strategic initiatives around legal technology, automation and AI (if this interests you)
This is far more than a traditional conveyancing role, it's an opportunity to influence the direction of a modern business.
About You
You'll ideally bring:
- 6+ years' PAE (Senior Associate or Special Counsel level)
- Current Australian Practising Certificate
- Strong conveyancing experience across Victoria and New South Wales (additional jurisdictions highly regarded)
- Commercial property experience or a genuine desire to expand into this area
- A commercial mindset with strong initiative
- An interest in technology, automation and innovative ways of practising law
