Guildford Grammar School is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Senior School Science Teacher to join our team in a full time, 12-month fixed-term position commencing Term 1, 2027.

The role

As a Science Teacher at Guildford Grammar School, you will create engaging and meaningful learning experiences that encourage students to question, investigate and explore the world around them.

You will bring energy and creativity to the classroom, foster inquiry and critical thinking, and build positive relationships that support students to grow in confidence and capability.

Beyond the classroom, you will be part of our broader School community, contributing to pastoral care and embracing opportunities to participate in our vibrant co-curricular program.

About you

We are looking for an educator who is passionate about Science and genuinely enjoys inspiring young people to learn.

You will bring:

- A relevant teaching qualification and current TRBWA registration

- Experience teaching Science, with a strong understanding of the secondary curriculum

- Demonstrated ability to differentiate teaching effectively to meet diverse learning needs and model sound contemporary pedagogical practice

- A student-centred approach and strong classroom management skills

- Confidence using technology to enhance teaching and learning

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families





- Enthusiasm for pastoral care and involvement in the wider life of the School

- A current Working with Children Check and proof of your right to work in Australia

- A commitment to the values, traditions and Anglican ethos of Guildford Grammar School
